    Hi developers:
    I want to add a "markdown" plugin (with a button) to the CKEditor.(http://ckeditor.com/addon/markdown)
    And i extract the downloaded plugin .zip into the C:\xwiki\plugins\markdown.

    I put this:

    ```
    CKEDITOR.plugins.addExternal('markdown','C:\xwiki\plugins\markdown');
    config.extraPlugins = 'markdown';
    ```

    But my xwiki's CKeditor doesn't show the markdown button on menu.
    What should I do next?

      Hi. I don't know the answer to your question but XWiki has a Markdown Syntax extension that works with WYSIWYG (with some limitations).

      You don't want the browser of an user to be able to access any files from the server where XWiki is running. The browser can only make HTTP requests to the server where XWiki is running. So you need an HTTP URL, which can be absolute (e.g. http://<server>/<pathToResource>) or relative to the server where XWiki is running (e.g. /xwiki/resources/...). For this you need to put the plugin files somewhere inside the resources folder from the unpacked XWiki WAR.
