I'm still rather frustrated about that section/column macro. It's sort of a quick hack in 3 different versions and none of them is really useful if you need to tweak the look & feel of the output. The macro still lacks a 'class/style' attribute for applying css to. The first version seemed to be outdated/replaced by this version. The recommended container macro as its successor is not an improvement also. In addition its documentation makes no sense for a user but seems to be a developers thoughts. At least the maintenance of this stuff is in full contrast to the ever updating 'last-modified' tag. Please - rather than creating new features all the time - fix this. I admit however that overall quality of XWiki improved a lot and besides pulling out my hairs once in a while it is great stuff.
Just a tiny reminder, this is an extension that is not part of XWiki but was contributed to the project. Some of the contributions are not very generic but aim to achieve a certain result so don't expect too much unless it has been claimed.
As for the Container macro, the documentation is indeed not very advanced but this is a know issue, if you want to call it such. You might want to join the IRC channel of XWiki, talk to the developer(s) in charge and improve the documentation for the Container macro. Usually, all help is welcome.
Handy plug-in, thanks!
You should use the bundled Container macro instead.
Unfortunately it's not installable with Extension Manager yet (you get used quickly to good things )
There's a good reason it isn't... it's bundled by default, in other words you don't need to install it, you have it already
