Does this work with 2.0 RC1?  I've added a toolbar property to the XWikiPreferences class (menu and plugins properties already existed), added values in the object editor corresponding to the toolbar I'd like to see and yet this has no affect on the wysiwyg toolbar.  I've restarted the server process as well although I don't suspect that's necessary.

      Hi Michael,

Yes, see https://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWIKI-4221 . I doubt the WYSIWYG menu and plugins properties where there already. Make sure they have the right name ("wysiwyg.menu" and "wysiwyg.plugins"). Don't mistaken them with the "menu" and "plugins" properties which serve a different purpose. You don't have to restart the server. Make sure you enable the plugin before enabling the feature (by adding the name of the desired plugin to the "wysiwyg.plugins" list).

    Hi all,

I finally figured how to add some features to the Xwiki  Wysiwyg Editor.
For example the basic configuration does not have enabled colors, font, fontsize etc, although it supports it.
It needs to be configured (pain ..)

Here a short description on how to do that

    Features available are described here:
    http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Features/WysiwygEditor

    How to enable them

    based on
    http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/WysiwygEditor
    http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/WysiwygEditor#HConfigurationParameters
    I have no idea but

    This post: http://lists.xwiki.org/pipermail/users/2012-February/021826.html
    gives a rational explanation

click up and add them to administration wiki sectionfor  Wysiwyg Editor e.g. here
    $MYSERVER$/xwiki/wiki/icpcdev/admin/XWiki/XWikiPreferences?editor=globaladmin&section=WYSIWYG

    Example usecase:

You can enable it from the wiki administration, the WYSIWYG Editor section. Add "color" to the list of plugins and "forecolor" and "backcolor" to the tool bar, save and then reload the WYSIWYG editor

The link plugin requires the image plugin as a dependency (else you will get a JS error when using any link creation options), so be careful to list both "link" and "image" in the plugins parameters when you want the link plugin.
