Adds a new document editing mode, similar to wiki edit but which converts the editor into an EtherPad like collaborative editing tool.
The extension has been initially developed in the context of the, funded by the and labelled by the of the regional cluster
Its initial contributors are the, and .
After you install the extension, a new editor will appear in the menu for advanced users.
When you select the realtime editor, you will be able to collaborate on a wiki page with other users in real time.
This extension has been tested with the following configurations.

Should work with any 3.x and 4.x.
Prerequisites & Installation Instructions
- Download the and save it in the /WEB-INF/lib directory in your wiki server.
- Download the and import it using the administration import tool.
Delete the documents called XWiki.RealtimeSkinExtensions and XWiki.RealtimeAttachments. Removing the .jar file is optional (it will not affect anything if it is left).
Same process as installing always upgrade both the .jar and the .xar file together.
