In the Footnote-Macro it is missing that cited references or footnotes could be summarized. The line

Usage
The macro is cross-compatible with footnotes, so you can use both. As style the style of footnotes is used. The logic is very simple. If a text in different reference is the same, then the macro combines them in the footer, gives them one reference-number and mark them with a, b, c, ...

- Download and place it in your xwiki\WEB-INF\lib
- Restart your xwiki
