Backend support for XWiki Realtime Collaborative editors You probably don't want to install this directly but if you are interested in building a realtime editor, especially an editor based on ChainPad, this may provide the middleware support you need. Note that this extension makes use of the XWiki Websocket Extension which requires a firewall exception for the websocket port (the default port number is 8093) see the XWiki Websocket Extension for more information.

This extension is used by RtWiki.

Prerequisites & Installation Instructions

We recommend using the Extension Manager to install this extension (Make sure that the text "Installable with the Extension Manager" is displayed at the top right location on this page to know if this extension can be installed with the Extension Manager).

You can also use the manual method which involves dropping the JAR file and all its dependencies into the WEB-INF/lib folder and restarting XWiki.
