On windows XP, there are several ways you can access a remote webdav server. WebFolders is the most basic one.

* First, you need to open the **My Network Places** view. For this navigate to **Start->My Network Places**.

* On the upper left corner of the task panel, click on the **Add Network Place** task. This should open up a wizard, click **Next**.[[image:AddNetworkPlaceWiz1.png]]

* After some processing, you will be directed to the next screen. Here, you must select **Choose another network location** and click **Next**.[[image:AddNetworkPlaceWiz2.png]]

* On the next screen you must specify the network path to your xwiki webdav server. By default this is ##http:~/~/<xwikihost>/xwiki/webdav/##. Once you are done, click **Next**.
