Release Notes

New feature

  • CRAPP-435: Allow to refactor merge change request. A new administration option, Refactor references in merged Change Requests (disabled by default), makes renaming or moving a page also update the reference of that page in the change requests that have already been merged. Only the reference is updated: the content and the status of the merged change request are never modified.

Bug fixes

  • CRAPP-385: Doesn't work with inline edition. Object properties displayed through a sheet (e.g. a TextArea displayed with $doc.display()) are now editable fields, instead of read-only values, when editing a change request or creating a page through a change request.
  • CRAPP-437: The creator of a page created through a change request is the user who published it, not the user who created it. The creator is now the author of the page creation in the change request; the content author remains the user who performs the merge, as for an edition.
  • CRAPP-438: Review invalidation is skipped when a stale change request is served from the storage cache. A new review now always invalidates the previous review of the same reviewer, so that a superseded approval can no longer remain valid.

For developers

  • ReviewStorageManager#load now replaces the reviews already held by the change request instead of appending to them, as its contract describes: calling it again refreshes the reviews from the storage. Custom implementations should follow the same behavior.
  • ChangeRequestConfiguration has a new method exposing the Refactor references in merged Change Requests option.

Other

  • CRAPP-439: MinimumApproversIT.createCRCreatePageWithMinimumApprovers is flickering.
  • Small performance improvements of the change request display: the rendered diff configuration is read once per display, and the comment right is no longer recomputed for every displayed message.
